ATVs

Reach the hidden beaches, the jungle viewpoints and the waterfalls the main road won't take you to.

An ATV is how you open up the peninsula. The best of this coast sits at the end of a dirt track — quiet coves, lookout points over the ocean, waterfalls in the hills — and a quad takes you straight there.

Spend a morning chasing empty beaches north past Playa Hermosa, climb to a viewpoint for sunset, or run down to Mal País for lunch. The freedom to roam is the whole point.

Where it takes you

Santa Teresa's surroundings reward exploring. With a quad you can reach the spots that stay empty precisely because the road gets rough — the kind of place you have to ride to, and have largely to yourself once you arrive.

Easy to take out

We'll walk you through the controls and the best routes for your plan, then send you off. Reserve it for the day and it's yours from morning to evening.

Good to know: bring a valid driver's license, ride with a helmet, and take the dirt roads slow in green season — they get soft after rain. We'll brief you before you head out.
